Enigma Canoes Prospector Sport

At 16ft in length, the Prospector Sport, is an ideal size for solo or tandem use, and still has the capacity to carry multi-day adventure kit. This version of the iconic Prospector canoe shape is slightly narrower and sleeker towards the bow and stern than other 16ft Prospectors, and slightly less overall rocker. This allows it to track better, and have less water resistance equating to a faster, and more efficient 16ft Prospector than normal. This higher performing Prospector although efficient over distance, does offer less carrying capacity and primary stability than a standard Prospector 16.

As with all Prospector Canoes, the sport version has been designed an all-round canoe shape, and is capable (in the right hands) of tackling easy grade white water rivers alongside flat-water trips. The Enigma Prospector Sport is manufactured in Canada and constructed from a unique, high density foam core laminated polyethylene. This triple layered construction gives an incredibly rigid boat that isn’t prone to warping and is well suited for both private and commercial users.

The Prospector Sport comes as standard fitted out with 2x varnished wood-web seats and deluxe wooden carrying yoke. However it can also be supplied with 3x wood-web seats.
